Jeepers it sure has been awhile!

So, many things have changed in my world since my last update, the most exciting of which is that I now drive, yes, you heard me right, you can ask Steven, he saw the proof, and exactly one week later I got rear-ended, in the McDonald's drive-thru of all places, I think she was drunk and wouldn't give me her info, so I called the cops, haha stupid woman. And I got a job, Sunsera on 2nd ave., so yeah, I work and I drive, it's almost like I'm grown up, and on the first me and Cara are moving into our very own trailer, we're pretty excited about living in a trailer park, oh and to make it even better, we're gonna live in a double-wide, what fun!

I have spent the past few hours watching boys have the time of their lives, and they're not done yet, and although they're having a whale of a time, I am severely bored. Evan got new speakers and stereo stuff this afternoon (they're paradigm, if that's impressive to any of you), and he is one happy boy, so him and Craig and Dave have been contentedly setting it up for a couple hours now, in the beginning it was kinda like watching monkeys at work, they finished the actual physical set up quite a while ago, and now they're having the real fun, setting up all the levels and stuff on the receiver for each thing (tv, dvd, xbox), either way, they're having a grand 'ol time, and I'm bored, so I'm doing this, and I can't even watch tv while I wait, and Cara and I were in the middle of a movie when they came back from Kiley's and interrupted us, Cara gave up and left a while ago, I should've gone with her, oh well, I suppose I'll survive, but that's enough whining out of me, for now.

Has anyone else noticed that poker is taking over the world? It's almost enough to make a person want hockey back. So yeah, poker is everywhere, it's become the most watched tv sport since hockey and it's invading all other channels as well, twice in the past month they've been playing poker on Passions (quite possibly the worst soap ever, it's also quite addictive), I've also encountered poker on Days of our Lives and the Gilmore Girls, and this is on top of the boys poker nights and the constant poker stories 'cuz they play on their lunch hour too, and then there's the internet poker, even Lisa plays with her boy and his friends, we're thinking about having our own girls poker night, we're currently short a girl, but I'm sure I can find one, Evan's already tried to get me to play, but he gets all serious and mean-like, so I don't wanna play with him, so I'm gonna go hold'em my Texas elsewhere.

The job search continues, it sucks, quite badly, but what option is there but to keep trying, at least there's incentive in this whole thing, living away from mother, I think me and Cara should live in a trailer, they're cheap and self-contained, and then we'd live in a trailer park, and that in itself is funny and makes it a worthwhile consideration, just think, all those homes all bunched close together, oh the neighbours I could watch, I might never leave home, everyone would think I was a little old lady peering at them through my blinds, what fun.

I miss my kitty, I don't see him a whole lot nowadays, I think he misses me too, he follows me around the house and sleeps by me, after I've been home for a while he goes back to being a cat and just ignores me until he wants something. The bird and the bunny are always excited to see me, they're much more loyal.

ok, so it's been ahwile, but I'm still not as bad as Dog Pound.

So, new years was a pretty good time, and my life hasn't been the same since, I somehow managed to end up with a boyfriend and have barely been home in the past month. I'm not home now either. I'm still now sure how it all worked out considering the strange situation I'd gotten myself into, but it all worked out, I am dating Evan, Dave's roommate, it was weird for a few days, but now everything just settled into place and everyone is happy with the way things worked out, I've even had a drunken Dave tell me how happy he is for us and that if Evan's ever an ass he'll straighten him out for me, thanks Dave, how sweet, that was about ten minutes before he fell over, backwards, it was kinda like watching a tree fall, only funnier.

But yeah, I've been doing nothing, I'm back at university 2 days a week and I'm actually looking for a job, my mother threatened me, actually there's been a rapid succession of threats, a new one every time I go home, it's a good thing I don't do that too much lately, I can only imagine what would happen if I was home all the time. Once I find a job, it'll be time to start looking for a place to live, preferably somewhere without an evil lady that hexes me on a regular basis, preliminary searching has begun, and Cara's coming too so we'll have quite a houseful of animals, what fun, except her cat's a spaz, so that'll take some getting used to, oh well, all will be good once the evil lady is gone.

Moo Ha Ha HA HA!

Fritz got me a staple gun for Christmas, the electric kind, they require less effort on my part. Now all I need is something to staple.

So yeah, the staple gun kinda salvaged x-mas for me, and we went to see a movie (National Treasure, t'was kinda cute), I like going to movies on x-mas, I get to pretend it's not x-mas anymore, so fritz did something good for once by saving me from x-mas. Oh well, it's all over now, and now we have new years to look forward to, yay.
